Hosterwitz near Pillnitz is the former summer residence of the composer Carl Maria von Weber. The operas »Der Freischütz«, »Euryanthe« and the piano piece »Aufforderung zum Tanz« were composed here. The building, which is now used as a museum, is one of the oldest winegrowers' houses on Dresden's Elbhang. The wedding room is located on the ground floor of the museum and is available to you and up to 30 guests for the wedding ceremony at a cost of 200 € (incl. VAT). After the appointment has been made by the registry office, all modalities will be clarified in a personal meeting on site. For example, a champagne reception in the garden or the organisation of the wedding ceremony with live music are possible. The idyllic atmosphere of the garden invites you to linger. It is also possible to hire the garden for catering or coffee in the afternoon.
